Student Nurses Association (SNA)

The Student Nurses Association (SNA) is a professional organization formed for nursing students to promote their academic, professional, and personal development. lt functions under the guidance of the Trained Nurses Association of lndia (TNAI). The association provides a platform for student nurses to develop leadership qualities, professional values, and a sense of responsibility toward society and the nursing profession. The SNA encourages students to actively participate in educational, cultural, and social activities that enhance their skills and confidence. lt helps nursing students understand the importance of teamwork, ethical practice, and community service while preparing them for their future role as professional nurses.

 

Objectives of SNA

  • To promote leadership qualities and organizational skills among student nurses.
  • To encourage participation in academic, cultural, and social activities.
  • To develop professional ethics and responsibility in nursing practice.
  • To improve communication skills and teamwork among students.
  • To create awareness about health, hygiene, and community welfare
